What time does class start?

All classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 4:00 p.m. All necessary course materials are provided and dress is casual.

Does TechExcel University provide meals during the training classes?

TechExcel University provides light refreshments throughout the day. Lunch is provided by TechExcel.

Is there a dress code?

Dress is casual. Please dress comfortably, as you will be in class all day.

Do I need to bring my laptop or any other type of technology to instructor-led classes?

It is recommended that students bring a laptop with any project-specific data loaded.

What will be covered in the class?

All course information may be found at Course Options. TechExcel University reserves the right to change training offerings at any time.

Can I contact the instructor if I have further questions?

Your instructor will be more than happy to assist you with any specific questions during the course and after the course when time permits.

Can you recommend a hotel near the facility?

Please contact us for special rates with nearby lodging facilities.

Does TechExcel provide transportation to and from the airports or hotels to your training centers?

No, it is up to the individual student to secure transportation to and from the airport and their hotel to the training center. For additional information, link to training facilities and hotels.

What is included in Academy fees?

When attending an instructor-led class, you will have your own workstation and everything will be provided for you. This includes appropriate training manuals, pencils, note paper and other items. Airfare, lodging and other transportation is the responsibility of each student.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Yes, we do!

NOTE:

Discounts apply to students from the same company attending the same class or course.
10% discount off total price for 3-5 students
15% discount off total price for 6-8 students
20% discount off total price for 9 or more students

Can substitutions be made?

Yes. Contact TechExcel University at training@techexcel.com or call 1-800-439-7782 ext. 4. to substitute attendees. Substitutions may be made by letter or by phone.

How do I purchase training?

Please contact TechExcel University training@techexcel.com or call 1-800-439-7782 ext. 4. You may register for your courses, using a credit card, check, or purchase order. Registration can only be confirmed once payment or company purchase order has been received.

Does TechExcel offer a discount if I attend multiple classes or special corporate incentives?

TechExcel University offers several alternative ways to purchase classes. To learn more about these offerings, please contact us at training@techexcel.com or call 1-800-439-7782 ext. 4.

The class I want to attend is full. Can I put myself on a wait-list?

Yes. Enroll in the desired class. If space becomes available you will confirmed in the class. Remember your training must be prepaid so that you can be confirmed.

I did not receive a confirmation letter and no one has contacted me. What should I do?

I sent my PO, why have I not been confirmed?

The class must meet minimum student enrollment. We will confirm the class when we meet the requirement or two weeks before the start date of the class.

When will I receive class confirmation?

You will receive class confirmation no later than two weeks before the start date of the class.

What if I need to cancel my attendance at the last minute?

TechExcel University has specific policies regarding cancellation and rescheduling of attendance. If you have extenuating circumstances and would like to discuss them, please contact TechExcel University at training@techexcel.com or call 1-800-439-7782 ext. 4.

What happens if a class is cancelled and I have already made my travel arrangements that include a non-refundable airline ticket?

TechExcel University's cancellation policies are designed to give you enough notice to allow modification to your travel plans. Should unusual circumstances occur, we will discuss specific situations on a case-by-case basis.

If the course is cancelled, when will I be notified?

You will be notified two weeks before the class start date.

Does TechExcel ever make changes to the schedule such as canceling a session or changing the start date?

Due to instructor demand, TechExcel University may occasionally cancel or change the start date/location of regularly scheduled classes. If it is necessary to cancel or change a session, we will notify you at least two weeks before the start date via telephone and/or email.

TechExcel University Cancellation/Course Attendance Policy

Registrations canceled less than ten business days prior to the start of the class are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Registrants who hold reservations and fail to attend will be invoiced in full. Substitutions may be made at any time until the start of class. TechExcel reserves the right to cancel any class ten business days prior to the start date of the class. In such instances, our liability is limited to the full refund of the registration fee.

Substitutions may be made by letter or by phone.

When will I receive my refund due to the cancelled class?

You will receive your credit card refund the day the class is cancelled. A refund letter will be sent to you.

Unforeseen circumstances such as illness

If for any reason you are unable to complete a class due to an illness or emergency, TechExcel University encourages students to re-enroll in another offering of the same class within 60 business days. Please contact training@techexcel.com or call 1-800-439-7782 ext. 4.

Will I be sent a receipt?

Yes, you will receive a receipt via email the within 3 business days following your course purchase.

What forms of payment does TechExcel University accept?

We accept the following: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Purchase Orders and Checks.

What is a PO?

A Purchase Order (PO) is a document normally created by a company's finance department that serves as an order for goods or services, shows approval for the purchase, and serves as a vehicle for a vendor to invoice against and reference on the invoice.

How do I submit a PO?

You can submit your PO by fax to 925-871-3991, or training@techexcel.com if there is an electronic copy.

What is required on a PO?

At a minimum, it needs to show the purchase order number and the product you are purchasing as well as the price. It is nice if the name of the student(s) and the name of the course(s) are indicated.

How can a customer waive a PO request?

If you would like to be invoiced and cannot produce a purchase order, we need an email or a fax from your finance department or a person in the company with the authority to authorize a purchase. This message needs to state that you do not produce purchase orders, however, TechExcel can invoice for the classes (the letter needs to indicate the courses and the students) that are to be taken.

Can I enroll using a credit card?

Yes! Enrollments can be processed using a credit card.
